Anshu Christa Jacobson – Not What It Seems,…

I absolutely think that this is one of the greatest martial arts trilogies ever made. Not for the actual martial arts because, both “Daniel-san” and “Mr. Miyagi” are both actors and do not know the arts, so the fighting, martial arts demo was off.  But from the stand point of what we train for, philosophy, understanding, principals, the relationship that you have with your teacher, all of these things were portrayed really well and that is why I liked it so much.

There are many martial arts movies that show great punching, kicking, fight scenes, etc, etc, but few of those movies just focused on the training and the understanding of Budo.  In three movies Daniel fought three times, the rest of the time he was learning and using his head.

Great scene!  Wax on Wax off!
