In the picture above Soke Anshu is with a student at the Annual Shinobi-no-mono Stealth Camp (2012) demonstrating various outfits and disguises of the shinobi. Utilizing many different outfits as a means of camouflage as well as disguises, the ninja can move undetected within the crowd or in the shadows.
.
Above you see Soke dressed as Ronin (浪人; person of the waves) which falls within the philosophy of Tsune-no-kata (常之型; normal look). For demonstrational purposes at the event, the student placed on a Shinobi Shozoku (忍び装束) called the Fuyu Shozoku (冬装束; ninja winter garb) which is a classical outfit of the ninja to move undetected (陰忍術; Innin-jutsu) in the winter months of snow and ice. All concepts of disguise and camouflage are covered when the students of the Budo Ryu understand Kage-no-kame (影之構).

“If in his mind the warrior does not forget on thing,
Death, he will never find himself cut short.
.
The lesson the warrior learns in every case
Is ultimately, finally the one thing: death.
.
If the warrior proceeds by casting aside two things,
Life and death, nothing at all can best his mind.”

Ku Gi (空誼) Meaning of Emptiness
.
In the photo above Soke Anshu is teaching how to make traditional Metsubishi (目潰し) using egg shells and traditional powders and at the Budo Ryu Hombu Dojo.
.
One type of metsubushi was a powder made up of ashes, ground-up pepper, flour, and dirt. For severe damage, it could also include fine-ground glass or metal shavings. It was kept in hollowed-out eggs (happō), bamboo tubes or other small containers.
.
When confronted by an attacker, a shinobi would throw the metsubushi in the attacker’s eyes, taking advantage of the space between him / herself and blinding the attacker to either set up a lethal attack or to evade. *** Note *** this weapon / tool was also used by the Edo period Police / Samurai as well, similar to the use of modern pepper spray)

Voidness is that which stands right in the middle between this and that. The void is the all-inclusive, having no opposite. There is nothing which it excludes or opposes. It is living void, because all forms come out of it and whoever realizes the void is filled life and power and the love of all beings.
