Learn how to improve your martial arts kata, using ancient training techniques from Soke Anshu Christa Jacobson of the Budo Ryu Kai (Budo Ryu Ninjutsu).
When you are training kata, you need to be able to “flow”, similar to the way that you breathe to circulate and flow air through the body. You also have to need to be able to “beat”, similar to the way that your heart beats to keep you alive. You need both the hard and the soft working together to properly practice your kata.
This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).
