Ninjutsu Training: Ninja Use Of Camouflage (Mokuton-no-jutsu) Ninpo Martial Arts Training Techniques
In this video, I explain the ninja use of camouflage when utilizing mokuton-no-jutsu. This is an extremely important skill for anyone who is studying the ninja martial arts.
These techniques are found in the Gotonpo (五遁法) section of the Togakure-ryu school of Ninpo Taijutsu (戸隠流忍法体術). In the video I say, that tonjutsu (evasion techniques) are ways to “evade reality”. Although this is true, this message was taken from a larger lesson on the perception of reality, which is not part of this video. So Tonjutsu is evasion skills, but it is important to know that you are evading from the vision, or the perception of the enemy. So if you are using Mokuton-no-jutsu, you are using wood evasion skills to evade from the vision or perception of the enemy. . This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).

In this video, I teach how to use the natural elements of the TenChiJin (天地人) towards your advantage when studying the ancient ninja martial arts of ninjutsu (忍術). In Ninpo (忍法), we study the Godai (五大), Gogyo (五行) as well as all areas of the TenChiJin Ryaku-no-Maki. Understanding the use all of the natural elements is crucial within the study of ninjutsu. Here is the video promo of the 2011 Shinobi no Mono Stealth Camp! This is the 4th Annual Shinbobi Stealth Camp held by the Budo Ryu; School of the Warrior Wary. Headed by Soke; Anshu Christa Jacobson!
This shows some of the training that took place at the event, we did not place everything on this video promo, but enough for the viewers to capture the meaning and essence of the training!
In this video we use the music from ” The Final Cut; Friday the 13th Movie 2009″ as many of you know I was a music major and love the horror movies, mostly the music as it has so much depth with the transitions of the melody. That is why I choose this song as it has so much depth, so many things going on with the music, yet they all fit together to make this beautiful song. This was very symbolic of the training of the 2011 Shinobi no Mono Stealth Camp.

Doton no jutsu: Literally “Earth Evasion”. Includes such concepts as using rocks, soil and land contours to aid in the ninja infiltration, evasion and deception.
In this photo here I am demonstrating how the ninja would use soil to throw into the eyes of the enemy as a means of escape. As this does attack the eyes the waza would be part of the metsubushi (目潰し) or eye closers.
