Kindness from a Stranger…
I woke up this morning and a man named “Brian” sent me a message, along with this picture of me that he’d seen on twitter. The message was simple:
“Mind, Body & Spirit – You are the most beautiful woman in the martial artist I’ve ever seen. I love your strength of character! Keep Being You! You inspire more than what you know.”
Along with that message, he sent a very nice donation to the Budo Ryu Ninjutsu Dojo!
Although I do disagree with me being the “most beautiful woman in the martial arts”, I am honored that he is inspired by my message of Freedom Of Expression & Individuality within the Martial Arts.

Getting Ready For Summer!
Been doing extra cardio in preparation for the summer. I need to start changing up my program. I am going to start with cutting my cardio in 1/2 and doing it two times in the day (morning and night) but increasing the intensity and then putting the weight training at night instead of the morning. If I keep the same program, I’m not going to make the changes that I want to make before the heat of summer!

Bushi no Me – “Eyes of the Samurai”

A warrior does not see things in an ordinary way. A warrior has trained their mind and spirit to process the impulses from a highly refined manner. A warrior does not focus on one thing, but sees one thing.
To the warrior, the ideas of “eye sight” and “sight” are different, there are many different methods of sight and insight with a warrior.

The training for all methods of warrior sight and insight for the samurai is called “Bushi no men Rensho” The complete understanding of these concepts will be found in Chapter Three of Budo Ryu Kai; School of War. This book details all of the fundamentals of the Budo Ryu Kai as well as the fundamentals and basics of all Budo.
This book is a must have for any practitioner of the Japanese martal arts and is to be released later this year!
